Lorelei gulped, tears welling in her eyes. She nodded. He didnt say it right but she didn't dare open her mouth. She nodded again. God, she was terrified. This man was crazy...

He slowly lowered his pistol to his side, finger still hovering thr trigger as he stepped further up to her and took his left hand under her chin. He smiled and brought their lips millimeters apart. "Anything else I should know?"

Lorelei was shaking, utterly terrified. She shook her head as a tear dripped down her cheek. She gulped. She knew she was about to die.

"Kiss me" he said softly, holstering his gun. "And I may let you go"

Lorelei closed her eyes with a whimper, tears dripping down her cheeks. She was so terrified. She leaned in reluctantly and pecked his lips quickly before pulling away quickly. She'd dreamed about this for ages, a handsome man finding her and overpowering her... she'd read romance novels about stalkers and women with Stockholm syndrome, but now that it was happening to her it was absolutely petrifying.

"Do you have food here?" He asked softly, smiling at her soft lips and not making eye contact. He held his hand out to her, offering to help her stand. He placed a nearby bookmark in her page and placed the book on her sidetable. "Come" He said softly, still keeping her hand and waiting for her to lead him to the kitchen

Lorelei hesitated, now rather confused. She was so sure she was going to die, but now maybe she had a chance to get away. She took his hand reluctantly, still silently crying. She stood and walked over to the kitchen. It wasn't hard to find, the entire apartment was one open room.

He sat her down on a chair, smiling softly at her. He took his hand from hers and gently wiped her tears away. "Calm down, baby, i'm not going to kill you. You can relax" He said, his voice promising

Lorelei shied away from his hand. "...who are you?... what do you want?"

"I'm Malakai Vitelli, but you can call me Kai." He said softly, smiling at her. "I was sent to kill you" He added after a moment, getting out ingredients for pasta and making her dinner. "I assume you have a million questions but here's one I can answer right now. How are you able to live? Follow my every direction. Understand?" He asked, his hand twwitching toward the pistol once more in threat
