His wing twitched a little at the touch, but Kai made it stop. "Its okay, its not your fault," he whispered.

Cam frowned slightly and just curled back up as she watched the scarring on his wings. She still couldn't believe her own father had done that to him. "It's not alright at all," she murmured quietly.

"Its still not your fault though," he reassured her softly, pulling her into a hug.

Cam hummed gently to him as he pulled her in, but still didn't look convinced. "I'm just sorry it was as bad as it was... i mean... god, Kai, you should have seen yourself," she whispered. She furrowed her brows then shook her head again. "Seeing someone you love so much being so... hurt by someone you trusted, that's something i'd never through I'd see," she murmured.

Kai rubbed her back comfortingly. "Its in the past, we're okay now..." he whispered to her. He didn't want her going back to those memories. Those were horrible, awful memories he wished she never had to experience. He didn't want her to be sad.

Cam relaxed into him as he rubbed her back, although it didn't make her feel much better. Why was he the one comforting her? he was the one that had been hurt. She sighed and sort of wrapped her arms right around him. "Still doesn't make it okay that it happened," she whispered.

"I know baby... I know..." he sighed, just holding her tight.

Cam sighed softly and moved to peck his lips. "I just... my own father," she breathed. How could he do that to someone she loved to much? How could he have done that to someone who was so good? She groaned slightly, the memory of it all making her head ache. She just curled right back up next to him. "I love you," she whispered softly.
| |

"I love you too..." he whispered.

Cam smiled lightly, and patted his chest. "Well, that's reassuring," she mused.
