Kais mother smiled, "I'll give you two some privacy," she said, standing and leaving them alone so Kai could get dressed, with Cams help, of course. Kai smiled weakly and nodded, "Okay..." Kai breathed, slowly beginning to redress himself. "Thank you..."

Camery glanced behind herself as she heard her mother in laws voice, and nodded lightly. "Thank you!" she chirped lightly to the woman. She'd been so helpful... she really didn't tonia what she'd do without her. She looked back at Kai after a second, an amused hum escaping her. "Kai, I did nothing," she mused, picking up his shirt and helping him slide his arms through it. "This is all you. I'm so proud," she chirped, pecking his nose before grabbing his trousers.

Kai smiled, "Well, thank you for not running away from me," he murmured. He really shouldn't be talking, and should save his energy, but whatever. With her help he finished getting dressed.

Camery smiled softly to him, shaking her head slightly. She had wanted to run from him... she would have ran if his mother wasn't there. Even if it was the last thing she wanted to do. Still... his eyes told her he wouldn't hurt her. He was still Kai. She let out a soft breath, leaning in to peck his lips gently. "I could never run from you," she whispered gently. He really did look so exhausted. She hummed in thought once they'd gotten him dressed, she offered him a small smile. "Just... shh for now. I'm gonna help you up. Or maybe the guards should come," she murmured softly. She didn't want to get him up really.

Kai nodded, quieting. He flicked his hand and the guards came over to them and picked up his limp body, carrying him back to his room.

Camery gave a small smile, although once they were back to their room and Kai was settled, she sent the guard away and quickly went to grab him a glass of water and some crackers, figuring he'd need to eat... something. She placed them on the side for him to grab when he felt strong enough, and tucked him in tight before sitting just next to him, gently playing with his hair in a way she hoped could be soothing.

Kai settled in, curling into her. "I love you..." he breathed.

Camery settled down next to him, her fingers still running through his hair when he curled into her. She smiled slightly, clearly amused by the whole thing. "I love you too. More than anything," she whispered, wrapping an arm around him and running a hand softly though his hair, gently swiping it back out of his hair. "But you gotta be quiet now. Just relax, hm?" she asked softly.

Kai nodded, resting, closing his eyes and drifting off.

Camery watched him drift off for a moment, a light smile across her face. He really was so perfect... sure, this whole thing had scared her... it still did, actually, but she loved him more than she could have ever imagined. She didn't understand how they could go from essentially being moral enemies at some point in time to... well, this. Curled up in bed together like it was the most natural. It felt natural. It wasn't long until she settled down herself, slipping off to a comfortable sleep.
