Lorelei looked up at him, cupping his face. "No, I need you, we need each other, you did everything you could,"

"I'm not enough for you...I don't deserve you...I'm a horrible person..." He sobbed, defeated

Lorelei shook her head. "Don't you dare say that. You are everything. You are a wonderful person, and someday we're gonna get married, have kids and grow old together and you'll be an amazing husband and an amazing dad,"

"You got used, Lorelei...I'm a fucking horrible person...I sat at home, drinking my pain away while you were destroyed and I didn't do a single thing for fucking days. Days, Lorelei!" He said, shaking

Lorelei fell silent. He was right about that... he didnt do anything for days while she was used and beaten and tortured. "I don't care... don't leave me..." she whispered.

"You desrerve someone better...You shouldn't have to suffer with me around but you did...I promise to never hurt you again" He whispered, breaths short

"I want you," she mumbled against his chest.

"I know" He breathed in her ear, holding her close as his panic attack slowly went away. She grounded him whenever he needed and that was something that he had never felt before

Lorelei just clung onto him as if she was clinging on for her life.

Kai slowly fell asleep soon after, the stress and events of the day finally taking their toll
