@Zz, just a month is nothing. I can do that. My research says 10-12 weeks which is like 3 months!

Well if you are wanting just one, a betta is the way to go. They are super friendly and personable and very easy to care for

I second the research. Specifically research the nitrogen cycle. Running it for A week isn’t enough usually. Mine took a month
Hummingbird Meadows

I think I am just scared of having multiple fish vs just one.

I had them breed back when I had a large angelfish tank lol of course the angels ate the eggs

I would just say overall ALWAYS do your research! Every fish needs something different such as tank size, food. etc. Also some fish don't get along with others. :) Plus what works for one person might not work for another.

Corys are cute but they theyre bottom dwelling, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have something else to hang in the middle
Angels angels

No they are small. You can even get pygmy ones which are really tiny
Hummingbird Meadows
09:13:28 Bird
@Angels, don't they need bigger tanks though?
Insignia Elites
09:13:25 Em
@bird yes! they scavenge the substrate for food! But watching them breed is really inserting! Mine do every so often but the eggs always get eaten. They are considered a bottom dweller :)

@Stardust, sounds like she has just had a long day.

Yesss I love corys. I always add them to my tank because they eat leftover food that sinks to the bottom and help reduce ammonia spikes

Ok so this is a genuine question for any parents on HEE - My mom said dinner's ready and I said what are we having. She said chicken, shrimp, and salad. I said what kind of salad and she started freaking out and telling me I'm rude and not supportive. Now here's the question - Is there a reason for this?
Hummingbird Meadows
09:12:28 Bird
Corydoras sound fun too, but evidently they only stay at the bottom of the tank?

Goldfish and plants don't mix well xD same as places they turn up the sand too much most plants can't root
ZequineZ
09:11:25 ZEZ - ZZ
I want to get duckweed or something similar cause it’s super prolific but the two goldfish I have in there at the moment would eat it all XD they’ll probably be moving on to a friends pond soon though
Angels angels
09:11:20 [1k+ brindles] Angel
I always prefered the fully submerged ones, not sponge though
Star Fields

ofc! xD And I turned off turbo mode when going around corners

Sponge filters don't get affected much but my Hang on the backs get plug at the intake xD

Thanks! I am still so confused over her. I want her to be decent, but due to her randomness I shall remain cautiously optomistic for the time being :b
I almost don't want her to be decent because that would mean a 20k lucky RF foal ended up better than the 2 3.4mil top ABLB/TBLB matches I did towards the beginning of this year. But I miss breeding TB, so I'll take whatever I can get!

How was everyone's wk4s/8s?
Mine were pretty satisfactory
WEE Filly | Eos 4/6 wk4, including Int!
EEE Aurora x Val Colt | Valliant 4/6 wk4, including Int!

I'm a week behind with my KNNs, but on Foxecroft my WEE prl colt went up 5/6 wk4, and my 2yos are a week behind.

I was waiting to see how Valliant would train before officially matching Aurora to Meli or Val, but now I am more undetermined than ever. Do I take the risk and breed her to Meli +Int for her 16yo year then breed her back to Val +Int for her 17yo year? Or should I give Val +Dressage a try for next month, then if that fails use Val+Int for her 17yo year?

I am leaning slightly more towards Meli because, though Val isn't weak in Hrt, it isn't a strength either, while Meli is strongest in Hrt. I want to get the most decent foal out of Aurora that I can with her being my last decent To mare.

That's great Skye! I think I personally would try Meli. If he has the hrt she needs, I think you should go for it :)

My week 4's were meh, the Ch filly was only up 3, I don't think I'll keep her around to be honest. Tempest was up 4, but the TB world is so dang competitive I was reeeally hoping for 5 xD I know it's super early though, so I'm going to wait for more training. I do like her strengths though, scp and str weak. I can work with that.

Sierra gained a bar week 8, up 6/6, which I'm ecstatic about! And for /once/ the color curse has spared me! This boy made his week 8! I really thought with him going up TWO week 7 he'd lose bars week 8, so I'm freaking ecstatic. He's To Spl Sb P2, and I could use help testing him and my X boy, straws are pretty cheap, his thread is in the general forum.

My other freshman who was 6/6 week 4 and 2 week 7 also made his week 8. Lastly, my super shiny WB girl on Statesman repeated her week 4 which was suprising, have her with Hollow Hollow next month. I'm pretty set on my matches, but we'll see what happens ;D

Congrats Sunny!! Seems like you had some great training! If Seirra doesn't end up at least top 10 ABLB, I'll be surprised.
Who knows, maybe Temp will gain a bar (or 2) !
And I am so excited for Whip! ^.^
