Kayla didn't sleep, instead deciding to wait for him to come back. When he didn't, she got up and went looking for him cautiously. She was silent, practiced in snaking, as she finally found him. She walked up to him, making her presence known before she was in arms reach. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder, sitting beside him and folding her and in her lap. SHe didn't say anything, just silently offered herself. Her heart was hammering in her chest and she could hear her instinct telling her to run. Hurt. Bruises. Hurt. Pain. Hurt. Run. Hurt. She sighed softly, nearly silently, and gently let her hip brush his as she adjusted

Gale's mind was spinning, flinching lightly before realising it was Kayla and easing under her touch. He straightened up and wrapped his arm around her, having to fight the instinct to kiss her neck or even peck her cheek. She could start screaming at you for even just having your arm around her, he realised, taking it off of her and keeping it close to him. "Sorry," Gale muttered, yawning slightly.

"I missed you too, missed not drowning." Gale admitted quietly, eyes turning from warm to chilled as they filled with sorrow. Tell her, tell her now. Now's your chance, tell her how you've been drowning, tell her, get off her, she doesn't want it, she doesn't li- He kept his gaze into hers before he brought her to him, pressing his lips to hers. THE HELL?! SHE-NO

Kayla was still unsure, just looking back at him. "Let's....take it slow, okay?" She suggested, flinching a bit from her lost of sensible thought. Her mind still screamed at her to run and hide, but she was trying hard not to

Gale pulled back to the position he was in, arm around her as he sat casually, nodding. "Sorry I just--it's became a normal thing recently."
