So this is my most recent image. I played with it for an hour or two, and besides the eyes, I am rather happy with it.
However, this is only my 5th or 6th piece, so I know there must be room for improvement. I am looking for suggestions to improve my style of art, as well as comments on the piece as a whole.
Please, constructive, reasonable suggestions only. I am still very new to the art world :P

I can see what you mean there. Adding some grass to the hooves would've helped.

Looove it. :D My advice would be using the eraser tool to clean up the lines on the legs! Also smudging the tail in the direction the hair would be going or creating individual strands (tedious though)

I agree, the legs were looking a bit messy the more I looked at it. I attempted to draw individual strands, I just think the smudging went weird. Maybe I should go on more than one layer? I just find then it's tedious to smudge :P
