Nate went down to the beach, taking Jackie in the water.

Nate rode until sunset then went back to the barn and untacked, then fed all the horses.

Dakota had made dinner by the time he got back but Hunter was already in bed. She was silent, scrubbing extra dishes in the sink

Nate walked into the house. "Hey," he muttered, going to take a shower.

"hey" she said, finishing dishes and going to get in the shower with him

Nate got into the shower, washing his hair and body.

Dakota got in behind him. "How was your ride?" She asked softly
