@someday, I live at home with my mom and are renters, but I think we deserve our deposit back when we move out. The previous renters didn't clean the carpets even though they were supposed to, left a bunch of junk in the garage, and we're three weeks late moving out.

oh I know nowadays the cost is horrible! We were just two gals trying to make bills

I think the rental company is just trying to keep my entire deposit and padding the bill. I called the same company that did the cleaning and was quoted $50/hour for a move out deep clean of the same size house.

@PK, i've no doubt it is very hard work. I can understand the reason for having two people there as it helps keep the workers accountable. I am just surprised it cost that much.

@Someday, that is crazy! I too have had the thought that I am in the wrong line of work if they can charge that much.

Bird, we were just charged $1,300 for a move out deep clean by the rental company we were leasing from. I have disputed it, because holy cow! I am in the wrong line of work if that is the price for cleaning a 3 bedroom house for 3 hours. I happen to know it took them 3 hours because I bought the house across the street and was home when they were there. I dont think the rental company realizes I could see the whole thing.

I can clean my house by myself in 2 1/2 hours, but these companies are saying it takes two people the same amount time.

@Angels, since you have both a big and small enclosure I don't think trying the bigger one would hurt since you can always put them back in the smaller one. Whereas when I had a reptile I didn't want to worry about buying a whole other enclosure.

Okay I may start getting more supplies for it then. I have had bad experiences with putting baby reptiles in too big of an enclosure and they can't find their food, then I have to downgrade them so they do well

I have an empty 20 gallon long tank and I am debating putting my baby leo in it. Right now he is in a platic bin cage that is about the size of a 10 gallon just not as tall. I am always worried about putting baby reptiles in too big of a cage. Online it says a baby is supposed to go in a 20 gallon but I don't know. thoughts?

Hi
I just joined and few days ago. I've been trying to read all the guides. I haven't started showing yet because I'm afraid I'll do something wrong. So i haven't assigned riders or trained yet. Do my horses have to be all the same discipline? I captured some horses because it was capture day and it sounded exciting. I happen to capture one EEE horse and I want to make sure I'm not wasting it. Should I not geld it so I can save it to Breed in the future for when im more knowledgable?
I captured only stallions because I thought to geld them since I assume only geldings can gain money fast? But now I think I should buy trained geldings since none of these captured horses are trained so they probably aren't ready to show? But i dont know
I have alot of questions, so hopefully someone doesn't mind answering them. Sorry if I rambled....basically I wish someone can give me a game plan/advice.

If you *ever* plan on breeding something, don't geld it.
.
They don't gotta all be the same discipline, no. In fact, with premium, you can just assign them to the barn manager and have her show them for you. MAKE SURE you set her to show COMPETITIVE only. Otherwise you'll for sure lose money!
.
Trained geldings are more expensive.
.
Any gender can easily earn money! Just depends on the time you enter them. The reason geldings are "faster" is just simply because they train faster. :)

Note to the Newbies - when choosing a mentor, go with the person that
has the lowest stable number. They will have been playing the longest and
will be the most experienced to help you.
