| Granny, it's been that way for years. I'd walk our great Pyrenees and they would come out. They normally left me alone. Lone star could it be a vampire bat? |

| Yeah, that's why I went to the ER. There's bats around here where I live, but they don't usually fly low. This one came straight for me and hung on. It bit me on the neck and when I swatted it away, it kind of just flopped onto the ground before flying away. |

| Granny they can come out when the sun is setting but still bright outside. Have a ton at the school in front of our old house. |

| also from what i have been told, even thought .9 percent of bats have rabies, certain species are MUCH more likely to have it. and sick bats are typically the ones who bite, as bats are extremely fearful of people. somebody correct me if im wrong |
