Kai sat up and scooted over to her. "I know, but if I just suppress it and it comes back while we're cuddling, or while we're intimate, I could hurt you. We're trying to have a baby, what if I hurt the baby?"

Camery watched him scoot over to her, her brows pinching close together. "Im more worried about you," she murmured. Her eyes fell to his hands, and she couldn't help but hold her breath. "You've never... hurt me. You've never even nearly hurt me,"'she whispered softly. "And our baby will be fine but... i don't think calling this thing on is a good idea," she started. She found a book similar to the one his mother had given her, and handed it back to him. "Read that and think about it. This isn't safe."

Kai set the book to the side. He'd heard the legend before. He took her hands. "I'd never hurt you on purpose, but I'd never forgive myself if I hurt you or our child. You saw what my... talons, you do to the bathroom floor, I'd never trust myself to hold our baby," he sighed. "You don't have to be there to see it, but I'm doing it,"

Camery watched him wide eyed as he set the book aside, and looked very disheartened for a moment. She knew she wouldn't change his mind, not in a million years, but she hated the idea of not being able to do anything about it. She hated that the only way he'd possibly feel safe with it was to try and control it, and to do so would be in such a scary way. He'd be putting himself in so much danger. She looked down at his hands as they engulfed hers, then glanced back up at him. "And we'll never have that baby if something happens to you while you're going through this," she whispered. She just... she just couldn't loose him. She couldn't. She shook her head fast when he said she didn't have to be there, though. "I'd like to support you," she started. "So i'll be there no matter what," she paused and dropped her shoulders. "I just... you have to be careful. It's not just yourself you have to worry about."

Kai squeezed her hands. "I know, baby, I promise I'll be careful. I've got you and our little eclipse to come back to," he smiled softly, pressing a gentle hand to her belly. "Everything is gonna be okay,"

Camery glanced down at her stomach for a moment when his hand landed on it, although it really didn't make her feel any better. She just sighed and leaned forwards too press her forehead lightly to his. "There's not eclipse yet. Just me. I need you to make it happen, so you need to keep your promise," she murmured, sort of finding her stomach crawl. He was never careful enough. She would have never forgiven herfself if she let him go do something dangerous and he somehow managed to injure himself, or... just anything really.

"You alone is still enough for me to come back to,"

Camery shook her head slightly, her brows pinching tightly together. "That's... not the point. You can survive without me, but there's a whole kingdom that won't survive without you," she whispered softly, getting more worried by the moment.

Kai lifted her chin up to look at him. "Hey, everything's gonna be okay, okay? I'm gonna come back to you, I promise,"

Camery nodded softly after a moment, staring up at him with worried eyes. She'd never know what to do with herself if anything happened to him... she didn't really even understand the full extent of what was going on right now. She couldn't convince him to do anything different, and she didn't want to, but he could be careful. "You'd better come back," she whispered softly.
