Sages grin widened when he noticed Mari focus on on his neck. He knew full well what she liked, and while his years at the tavern had been pretty awful, he had picked up some tricks he didn't mind using when it came to his wife. He supposed he didn't use them super often, but tonight he supposed he wasn't holding back. As she leaned forward, hips pressing against his, he sort of relaxed under her, gazing up with a sort of half lidded look, grin still on his face. "You're the boss, are you not," he breathed out to her, knowing full well he was driving her absolutely nuts by then. Good...he wanted her to want him.

Mari felt a small chuckle escape her, but it was more in awe than anything. Perfection, was what her as. Completely and entirely. He knew exactly how play with her, and by god she let him do it... willingly, too. She sighed softly as she watched him, his half lidded look sending wave of excitement though her for a reason she really jus couldn't put her fngernon. Her hands wrapped softly around his throat, then held it in a gentle squeeze. Her lips came a little closer to his, still brushing but not quite kissing. She tilted his chin up just s little, never letting go of his neck. She hummed slightly, holding his neck a little harder before her own expression dropped into something more sultry. "You got it," she whispered, "I'm boss," she grinned, flicking the hair off his shoulders as her lips teased his before moving to run her lips down his jaw, almost instantly going to the soft spot of his.

Sage couldn't help the small chuckle and smirk that formed on his lips when he felt her hand wrap around his neck. It was a little crazy...the fact that she had him in a choke hold and he liked it....of course he wasn't in any sort of danger from it, but even so. It was amusing in all honesty, but since her words had sent a thrill running down his spine he'd lost any and all thoughts running through his head. He sort of let his eyes close as she tightened her hold on him, lips moving across his skin. He wasn't sure he'd really used some of his old tricks with her....it just hadn't been something he'd thought about. But it couldn't hurt, especially she'd liked what he'd been doing so far. And as long as she was in charge, there would be no reason not to. He felt his breath hitch as she went directly for his soft spot, letting her grip on his neck move him however she wanted. He had a feeling tonight would be pretty darn nice, for both of them.

Mari kept her lips playing lightly on his neck, occasionally kissing that soft spot of his and dancing around it, although her kisses soon turned into light nips and soft bites. It was playful more than anything. As his breath hitched, she tensed up a little as a grin spread across her lips. The blush on her cheeks had grown tenfold by now, clearly... excited about this whole thing. It was all in play, really, but she couldn't help but love it. They didn't often get the whole house to themselves, and they really didn't get to play like this, but she was enjoying herself, and from the grin across Sages face she could safely assume he was enjoying it too. After a little while, she shifted to slip her robe off her shoulders, and moved his hands to her hips before sitting up a little, her hand gently finding its way back up to his neck.

Sage had been more than happy to let her play around for a while....they did not get to do this sort of thing often, so they may as well make it last. He noticed the grin that spread across her lips at his little gasp, since they were pressed against his skin, but really couldn't help but let his grin widen when she moved to slip her robe off and then reattach herself to him. He'd kept his head tilted back for her, so when she'd slid back to him, she could just grab him again it wasn't long before he felt the pressure of her hand around his throat guiding him over, and he let her move him to where he was flat on his back on the couch with a small chuckle, gazing up at her with heavy lids, knowing it would excite her even more.

Mari continued to play with him a little while, fully intending to have him a panting mess infront of her before her impatience got the best of her. She pushed him back gently against the couch, her hand on his neck moving him around the best she could. She still thought it was crazy that he actually let her do this to him. He was bigger than her, stronger too, and he actually let her play with him like a rag doll. Not only letting her - hell, she had her hand around his throat. He had to trust her a hell of a lot for it too. She quickly found his collarbone once he was on his back, her lips tracing it and working down his chest, then to the v-lines in his abdomen. She worked her way back up his jaw, her face still covered red as she pulled away, her heart fluttering at the look on his face. She leaned in to his lips carefully, her lips brushing against his, working him softly until her ler her deeper it.

Sage had chuckled softly when she'd dove back at him, tilting his head back so she could have room to do whatever she wanted. He wriggled around slightly as she moved downwards, honestly just enjoying letting her toy with him as much as she enjoyed actually doing it. When she'd moved up to his lips again, he just kissed her back, more than happy to let her move in deeper as she'd asked for it. Normally they got into things a little bit quicker, since they had a house and kids and all the rest....so he had to admit letting her play around and such now was pretty welcome. Besides, he could use some of his old tricks too, ones he hadn't thought about in years. He figured she certainly wouldn't mind.

Mari hummed softly as she felt him shift a little beneath her, her insides fluttering at the thought of... well, all this. They never really got to take their time and enjoy themselves. But, they had no where to be, and they weren't worried about the kids walking around as they'd normally be. They certainly wouldn't be in the living room on the couch. The thought amused her slightly, although was quickly drawn out of her thoughts as Sage allowed her to deepen the kiss. A little hum of satisfaction escaped her when he did, clearly happy with herself. She lowered herself onto him a little, letting her weight rest lightly on his hips. It wasn't long until things progressed, and she soon found herself half asleep on his chest, the both of them covered in sweat and desperately trying to catch their breath back.

Once they had collapsed early the next morning, he lay there for a while before gaining the energy to wrap his arm around her and glance over at the clock, chuckling when he noticed the time. They'd gone on for longer than they normally did...though he supposed the whole playing around thing took a while too. That was ok...they'd both had fun and enjoyed themselves. He nested his nose in her hair lightly, sort of pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. He sort of half drifted off after a while, waking a bit later and moving to gently shift a now sleeping Mari into a position where he could carry her upstairs and get them both into the bed before crashing next to her again.

Mari stayed seated on his chest for a while, eventually just slipping off to sleep. They'd certainly enjoyed themselves, but she'd be a liar to say she wasn't exhausted. When she felt herself shift, she woke up quietly, looking up at Sage before curling back up and essentially passing out when they crashed on the bed. She slept soundly for most of the night, not waking up until a little later the next morning. She woke with a little groan, making sure to tuck Sage in before slipping out of bed and throwing a robe on before padding back down to the kitchen to get breakfast on.
