"Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked softly, rubbing her side gently. He was always there for her, no matter what.

Emery stayed quiet for a moment, answering quietly. "He was dragging me back like he used to, then left me in that room again."

Noah was always nosy, and did want to know what she meant, but he didn't ask for her to explain further. He knew she was sensitive about it all, "You're safe, darling, he'll never touch you again," he whispered.

Emery nodded at his words, knowing they were tree while her mind was still riddled. The way he had been so aggresive and uncaring for her yet still tried to 'care' for her then blamed Em for not liking him haunted her, and she wiped it from her mind.
