Down-side to free breeding, the horses aren't 'matched', so the resulting foal probably won't have very good ratings.

so any mares and stallions that are of breeding age have the ability to breed together, and random babies can just be born (with the exception of mares that have already been bred that game year)

just remember that if you put mares and stallions in the same pasture, they can free breed, which can be a bit of an inconvenience xD

Yea, looks like most of the yearlings aren't Entered, as they don't have enough training just yet.

You could have the setting for the barn manager to only show them when they`re competitive on, :)

Ermm, so if I have my horses entered through the barn manager…and today I had them scheduled…why aren’t they entered in any shows?

Another question!
You mention that E horses need 4-5 wks and P horses need 5-6 wks to level up. When deciding to show, how do you decide which wk to show them on?

This is really a gelding/CS'd mare vs stallion/mare type of deal. Personally, I just show Es 4 weeks after they've leveled and Ps, 5 weeks.

No, I don't. I consider them too much of a gamble.

Any advice for when geldings continue to show red results, even after having switched riders and being left for a week or so and entered again? I don't know what I'm doing wrong, they're all with riders of their level and yet I'm not making any money

Depending on the rating, they're going to need anywhere for 4-5 weeks to start placing in the green.

In looking at your horses, most don't have enough training to be competitive and that's why you're losing money. It's also worth mentioning that you should put all your horses on AD riders. SD riders will make you bleed money.

Also another last question, What's the most profitable SD? I'm doing dressage with most of my geldings, is there a difference between the 3?

Probably XC or jumping, since you can switch the horse to jumping or XC when they hit level 10.

I have a few questions about the actual riders. Which affects their showing more, their experience or skills? I'm under the assumption that once they hit the next 100 in a skill, that's when they level up, but it's actually the amount of experience points that affects how they do in competitions... is that correct?
