Dakota nodded and chewed her lip, worried slightly. She walked to the kitchen's island and rested her arms on the counter. Sighing, she went over how to make herself a better wife and mother. After coming up with a small list, she walked to the bedroom and changed into sweatpants and one of Nate's old t-shirts before climbing into bed with him. "I love you more thn you'll ever know"

Dakota looked in his eyes defiantly but not wanting to argue. She sighed and curled in, falling asleep. Hunter began cring in the middle of the night, waking Dakota. She cimbed out of bed and put Hunter back to sleep. She sighed, watching her son sleep peacefully for a while before walking back to her and Nate's bedroom and sitting on the bed beside Nate. She played with is har gently as to not wake him and hummed a slow tune.

Dakota stayed awake, gently running her hand through his hair and humming until the sun rose. Hunter wasn't awake yet and Dakota took advantage of that. She curled in with Nate silently, smiling softly at his sleeping face
