Celeste smiled and nodded. "I wanna get them when they wake up,"

Sage nodded and grinned. "Alright," he mused. "The weres will be here in about an hour," he added, glancing at his watch

Celeste nodded, watching him. Only a bit later, she heard the babies start to cry. So she got up, going to them. But when she got there she let out a scream. Seeing Att's beloved stuffed bear stabbed through the head with a dagger that pinned the bear to the wall.

Sage had been sitting with Liz when he heard Celeste scream, and then he'd moved to barrel into the room, ready for a fight. Of course, their wasn't one, but horror filled his face when it dawned on him that even his supernatural senses had failed to alert him of....whoever had done that. They could have easily woken to all their children on the wall like that, and it wasn't a thought he wanted to dwell on. "Celeste," he sort of breathed, just staring at it. "How'd they get in?" She wouldn't know. But this was getting to be dangerous. He was dimly aware of the weres coming in after a moment, but was still just staring at the bear.

Celeste was rooted to the ground, terrified. Her hands covered her mouth, tears welled in her eyes. "Sage..." she breathed.

Sage opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out so he closed it again. He managed to move a few steps forward to wrap his arms around Celeste, still clearly out of it. He was terrified, and blaming himself quite a bit. But ....why not just kill them? "She's playing with us," he noted hoarsely, still ignoring the guests who Odessa had let in by then.

Celeste turned to face into his chest. She was hyperventilating, absolutely terrified. "...Sage- I'm scared..."
