• Proficient in hand-to-hand combat, as well as with weapons—he’s been in more than his fair share of dangerous situations.
• A natural leader, even though he doesn’t like to be in the spotlight. People follow him out of respect, not fear, and they know Kai can get things done when others can’t.

Background Story:

-Her eyes are a deep shade of emerald green that make her seem completely innocent in nearly every situation.

-A line of freckles trail over the bridge of her nose and across the tops of her cheeks.

-Jade is 5'6".

-She is thin, with a slender neck and curves that catch many men's eyes.

-Jade always wears a pair of cut-off shorts, crop top and white sneakers on more casual days, but when her father tells her to dress formal, she chooses skin tight dresses that end mid-thigh or slightly higher.

-Jade is seen as innocent in nearly any situation as a result of her kind disposition.

-She is not by any means a calm person; she is fidgety and hyper, often making awkward small talk to fill the void.

-She believes that her family is extremely rich, but she tries desperately not to flaunt her undeniable wealth.

-At age 15, Jade persuaded her mother to allow her to adopt a one-year-old white and brown Australian Shepherd with pale blue eyes. His name was origionally Harvard, but Jade switched it to Yoshi.

-At age 17, Jade was gifted a brown, black, and white four-month-old Australian Shepherd puppy named Streaker. The two male dogs soon became nearly inseperable.

-Jade is very good at talking her way out of tough situations and calming people down.

-Jade has absolutely no survival skills.

-She cannot sit still, often stressing others out and getting herself into trouble.

-Jade had grown un in a lavish lifestyle. She was completely unaware of the fact that her father was part of the Mafia. Her mother had been sworn to secrecy, leaving the weight of the lies on her father's shoulders. Jade and her mother are the only two people who can bring a smile to her father's face, and she takes immense pride in her ability.

Kai's Charger idled outside of a bar where he target was last spotted an hour ago. Nobody who'd come out of the dark, drabby place had been the man Kai was stalking, though, so he decided to head inside. He walked past a flirty waitress who shamelessly tried to grab Kai's attention. He was used to it, women gushing over him like he was a shiny new toy for them all to play with, then throw away. He took easy strides to the man he'd been assigned before setting a hand on his shoulder. "Mr. Fandello, please come with me. Someone has requested your presence in a VIP area." An easy lie, persuading the man to eagerly get up and follow Kai to the back of the bar. The job was done quickly after the man realized his mistake and Kai's face.

Kai rolled up to his mansion, one his father had recently left him in a will. He sighed, the weight of the day settlign on his shoulders. He walked inside, changed into sweatpants, took off his shirt, and dialed his main tech guy. "Fandello's out of the picture. Who next?" Kai inquired in his smooth voice. "Looks like it's a girl...Oh, boss, you're not gonna believe this. It's Moxx's daughter. Good luck with that one" He hung up, the phone silenceing. "Dammit" Kai muttered

Jade had sat at the park for fourty five minutes waiting for the sunset and it had finally arrived. Striking rays of pink and orange streaked the sky, drawing a sigh from her lips. She snapped a few pictures on her phone before striding to the black SUV parked across the street. Jade took one final glance at the painted sky before jogging across the road. She slid into the back seat and nodded to the driver. "Home, please, Dave." She requested, her voice smooth as silk. "Yes ma'am, Miss Moxx."

The next day went by in a blur- breakfast with Mother and her associates, lunch with her friend Leelan, shopping with her, then dinner with a buisness partner of her father's. Jade had managed to win the ability to escape the dinner early, now begging Dave to hurry to the park so she wouldn't miss the sunset. When he parked, she jumped out of the passenger side of the back seat and crossed the road. The sun was about to dissappear behind the horizon. She got her pictures, but she felt the need to sit at the bench and watch the sky turn dark, so she did.

Kai had followed the red dot, showing his target's location, for the last ten minutes, eager more than ever to be done with it. He had never killed a woman- least of all his rival's daughter- but he was willing to give anything a shot (Literally). He strode up to her after parking, settling beside her. "Sunset's pretty, isn't it?" He asked in a smooth voice

Jade was about to leave when someone settled onto the bech beside her. She swallowed and nodded, ripping her gaze from the darkening sky. "Yeah, it is." She said. Her eyes reflected the stars, giving the orbs the illusion that they were twinkling. She cleared her throat. "I was just leaving. Have a nice day, sir." She stood, brushing her legs off.

"Where you going next?" He asked softly, not being at all rude or intimmidating. "I could drive you? I'm not going to harm you, I promise." He lied, smiling softly at her. "Anything I could get you? Something to eat, drink, a place for the night? Really, name what you'd like and it's yours."

Jade grit her teeth, her eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Sir, I'm alright, thank you." She swallowed and grabbed her phone off the bench. What is up with this man? she thought to herself as she hurried to escape him. She stood at the side of the street for a minute, her eyes frantic as she scanned the roadway. "Come on, come on, come on." She muttered under her breath as if to usher the passing car faster down the road. As soon as the car passed, Jade's legs took her across the street and straight into the SUV waiting for her. She let out a breath, her eyes closed. "let's go, please, Dave."

Kai should have taken a shot, he should have grabbed her, but he didn't. He sighed and walked calmly to his charger, roaring away to his house. As he pulled into the driveway, he left it idling and held his head in his hands. Why a girl like that? She seems nice, what could she have done to deserve to be my target? His mind went in circles until his phone rang. "Yeah?" Kai muttered. "Is she done, boss?" His team anxiously waited on the other end for their marching orders. "Yeah" Kai muttered, hoping they would forget about the girl
