Lorelei glanced over at him, seeing his gripping the wheel tightly. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked gently.

Kai was pulled out of his thought cage when she spoke and it slightly startled him. He'd been on another mental planet, spiraling. He jumped slightly at the sound of her voice and sighed. "I'm fine" He muttered, hands not moving

"Honey, youre obviously not," she said softly, now worried. "Can you pull over please? Let's just talk about this,"
