Celeste shook her head fast. "Sage, no. She'd kill you, you don't know how powerful she is,"

Sage sighed softly at her comment. "We have to do something," he groaned. "Let's just get through the rest of these books for now. See if we learn anything new," he sighed after a moment. "And update everyone else on the situation."

Sage hugged her again before releasing her and picking up the bear and dagger, walking with her out to the table where Odessa, Xander, and the weres all sat

Celeste followed, staying quiet, eyes down, still terrified.

Sage kept his arm around her waist as they moved to the other room, setting the things all down on the table. "We need to figure this out now," he noted quietly

Celeste kept her face buried in his side. The Weres and Xanders eyes widened as they examined the items. Within minutes, the entire group was working hard.

Even though sage couldn't read well, he focused in on any old images they could find, in books or online. As an artist, he'd been able to pick out things in each piece that the others overlooked. He was starting to feel useful by then, and when he came across a few different pieces regarding fueds between royal looking vampires and werewolves ...the same ones, in fact, he tapped Celeste. "This the empress," he asked, pointing to all the different pieces.

Sage hummed and nodded, squinting at the images. "Can we find out who the werewolf is," he asked. "If there's multiple pieces with the two of them fighting or whatever...it could be important."
