I would love an all cuts piece. I absolutely love chonky chonks! And the more crazy long hair and fluffy feathers the better. ~ Idea 1: I think a play on size would be fun. Drafts are already huge so exxagarting it and shifting everything else to make them appear bigger would be cool. I like the idea of a solid black horse rearing/galloping straight towards the viewer. My orginal idea was a castle in the background with soft blues and pinks but I'm not so sure that fits. Maybe the moon behind him but make the moon look small, even though its really close, compared to the horse. Like that horse is the biggest thing on earth. I think wings would be too much but I don't know. ~ Idea 2: I love mythology so my second idea has a bit of that. Kraken vibes kind of. I'm thinking a giant draft, same idea as above except he's in the water, breathes fire or maybe just has a mane and tail and feathers made of fire. Red firey eyes. And theres a whirlpool with ships that are as big as his hoof(or around that size). Maybe him holding a ship up with his mane. ~ Anyway...thank you so much for this chance. I love your art <3 |

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MULES!!!! I would absolutely adore a set with my main mule oc, Dizzy! (her TH!) My first idea would be sort of a scenic pose: Dizzy standing 3/4 or front view, in a thick valley of lilac flowers and baby's breath, and other wildflowers too. She's holding some in her mouth, too!! Behind her, snowcapped mountains part to reveal a beautifully sunny sky, with picture-esque clouds. My second idea is her romping around (something dynamic like a gallop or buck or rear) in a dry-ish plateau like area, like the western US. the whole overall piece is kind of oranges and browns in hue. There are bison or deer running in the distance, with more plateaus and such making up the skyline. The sunset it strong and gold and there's tumbleweeds or a small creature like a rabbit there too. |

Stable Set (Bio-image, stable avatar, stable banner) Background
Think sandy white beach, palm trees, an 'ideal' beach vacation. Beautiful blue waters, shimmering golden light from the sun, maybe even a dynamic and colorful sunset or sunrise.
Horse
A horse with a cream or chestnut coat (cremello, pearl, etc.), with a frame overo pattern, or some sort of tobiano/appaloosa pattern. This horse is from the ocean, covered and/or made up of seaweed, starfish, and shells. This could be integrated into the coat, or worn as a necklace/draped over the horse. Its mane and tail are interlaced with green foliage, or shells tangled in there. Any pose or gait. Other
Creative freedom here, but this idea in my mind is 'shimmering' with dynamic light, with a flowing mane and tail. This horse can also be a pegasus, unicorn, or plain ol' horse. |

A silver black chonk that is a galaxy chimera! I'm imagining galaxy overlay patches/fun patterns over the black coat, if that makes sense? night-themed background - maybe oversized moon behind the horse - would be really cool :) |

Thank you for doing this <3 My idea would be for an all cuts piece.
1. An elegant 'angelic' theme - I think a white horse with golden antlers, a long mane with golden streaks, and some gold markings would be gorgeous. It could be in a forest with a magical feel, or in any area with that theme.
2. A horse with it's back turned, standing on the edge of a mountain/cliff. There would be a gorgeous view in front of it, and the horse would be looking out at the area around it.

What an amazing opportunity! Thank you for holding this contest! I absolutely adore Friesians, big, black, super long mane and tail, feathers, noble... They are so majestic! Idea 1: A beautiful black Friesian standing head up, pricked ears, flowing hair. Maybe some red or purple ribbons or pretty flowers in the mane and tail. Background would be a stunning sparkling waterfall. Spring/Summer time. Idea 2: Black Friesian with a red dragon. Either the dragon behind with wings outspread as if protecting the horse in the foreground. Or dragon and horse facing each other with rearing stances. Or your choice of black Friesian / red dragon layout. Not too dark as I like to see the details. Idea 3: Black Friesian lit up by a spotlight. Looking fabulous with long hair and feathers. Any position, standing, rearing, bowing maybe. Open to having accessories on this one. Jewellery, feather plumes, cape etc.. A real showstopper! If I was to win I would love to have all cuts please. |

I would personally love something themed around Mardi Gras 😁 I know it's vague, but I feel like it would be amazing with a french quarter type of background and a drafty type horse, I'm seeing like a big beautiful flaxen chestnut with lots of hair and feathers and a green and purple mask/mardi gras accessories. Preferably all cuts I've always loved the art idea of a little blood bay/chestnut sitting in a bowl of tomato or minestrone soup in a very ratatouille type of style, it's random I know but a cute lil food themed set with celery in it sounds adorable to me A joker themed set would be incredible, specifically Heath Ledger's Joker (what my stable is named after!) I love the gritty feel of his character, especially the curly dirty hair and the rough quality of his scars and makeup, it's unsettling in the best way and I would love to see something inspired by him come to life for my stable 😊 |
