Celeste sat in the back with Lizzie, comforting the girl as she cried. "Keep driving on the highway, let me know when you sat to see signs for LA,"

Sage grunted and nodded, adjusting the mirrors on the truck so he could keep an eye on the kids and Celeste.

Celeste comforted Lizzie until she drifted off.

Sage drove until he started seeing the signs Celeste pointed out. "Where do I go now," he asked quietly

Sage nodded, peering at signs before turning off the exit. "Where to next," he asked once they had taken the exit off

"Two lefts and a right, then the fourth apartment complex to youre right,"

Sage repeated the directions in his head, taking the turns and then pulling in and parking. "We're here," he noted softly. "Anything I should know going in?" For instance....should he keep the fact that he is a werewolf secret?

Celeste got out of the truck, picking up the kids and carrying them with her. "No. Just grab the bags,"

Sage nodded, wincing at the sharp sounding words. He knew it wasn't him, and she was just worried, so he tried to not let it bother him. He grabbed the bags, following her closely since she knew where she was going and he didn't. But, he did want to stay close to her.
