I was HORRIFIED of shots when I was a kid. Like, crying, shaking, stressed, pacing, and overall a wreck. Never once did they ever mention doing that to me. Orally or otherwise

I doubt they would even prescribe something to take orally.
Snitches' Stitches

Star
That's really a doctor question, but probably not unless it's for life saving measures. Might just give the kid a chill pill like trazadone or something before the appointment
Hummingbird Meadows

@Star, I don't think they would ever do that. Sedation is typically given with an IV anyways.

If you're not planning on breeding him, then gelding would be best for his training

Hey guys I have a question; Is it legal for a doctor to sedate a child under 18 with parental consent so that the child can take a shot?

So my question is if I don’t plan on using him for breeding because of the P should I just geld him?
Hummingbird Meadows
10:09:48 Bird
He's getting more confident out there though. He gets excited about chasing the bugs.

@Artic, the sun set so it was cool enough for us to go out for 30 minutes. It was getting dark so I picked him up and brought him inside.

So those of you who don't know me, I'm very involved in FFA and Ag, I have been on 5 different competitive teams, about 2-3 a year. Freshman Year I did Opening/Closing (O/C), Sophmore I did O/C, Impromptu Public Speaking, and Floral Design, I also went to the State FFA Convention. This year I have done O/C, then was on the Job Interview team, and Floral Design team. They cut from from the Job Interview team which I was like fine, very disapointed and sad but fine, then I go to my floral team where they decided to make me a alternate, which means I'm basically just coming to practice and not actually competing, but I'm still required to do the 30min of ID studying a day. Anyways, I went to Indiana a couple of months ago, for a NATIONAL FFA convention, and then applyed for this years State convention. I didn't get in. A bunch of the people who go in don't do very much in FFA, and a bunch are Freshmen. Which nothing against them but we go every year. I only have this year and next year left to go. I feel like being mad about this isn't fair since "oh they are trying to include more people" but 3 of the people selected to go went to Nationals as well. I feel like I'm being cut out of the program, and I'm honnestly not suprised because I feel like I'm useless and in the way. I feel so petty about being upset, but I have been so involved in the program it hurts, and I can't even put out the right words, I'm crying and feel so stupid.

So big update!
Someone backed out of a comp this weekend so I'll be able to compete in floral this weekend! We leave Friday, and come home Sat, so it will be great! I also get to go to one in the middle of next month, and then State Finals in May!
