@someday, I live at home with my mom and are renters, but I think we deserve our deposit back when we move out. The previous renters didn't clean the carpets even though they were supposed to, left a bunch of junk in the garage, and we're three weeks late moving out.

oh I know nowadays the cost is horrible! We were just two gals trying to make bills

I think the rental company is just trying to keep my entire deposit and padding the bill. I called the same company that did the cleaning and was quoted $50/hour for a move out deep clean of the same size house.

@PK, i've no doubt it is very hard work. I can understand the reason for having two people there as it helps keep the workers accountable. I am just surprised it cost that much.

Bird having cleaned houses once upon a time, we went in pairs for mostly safety reasons.

@Someday, that is crazy! I too have had the thought that I am in the wrong line of work if they can charge that much.

Bird, we were just charged $1,300 for a move out deep clean by the rental company we were leasing from. I have disputed it, because holy cow! I am in the wrong line of work if that is the price for cleaning a 3 bedroom house for 3 hours. I happen to know it took them 3 hours because I bought the house across the street and was home when they were there. I dont think the rental company realizes I could see the whole thing.

I can clean my house by myself in 2 1/2 hours, but these companies are saying it takes two people the same amount time.

@Angels, since you have both a big and small enclosure I don't think trying the bigger one would hurt since you can always put them back in the smaller one. Whereas when I had a reptile I didn't want to worry about buying a whole other enclosure.

Okay I may start getting more supplies for it then. I have had bad experiences with putting baby reptiles in too big of an enclosure and they can't find their food, then I have to downgrade them so they do well

I have an empty 20 gallon long tank and I am debating putting my baby leo in it. Right now he is in a platic bin cage that is about the size of a 10 gallon just not as tall. I am always worried about putting baby reptiles in too big of a cage. Online it says a baby is supposed to go in a 20 gallon but I don't know. thoughts?

Hello all,
I'm rather new to the art world on HEE
Im most comfortable in doing lineart
However I took the leap and now dappling in. Manipulations. However I'm having some trouble in adjusting coat colors and shading. I'm struggling to make the horse look natural.
I can easily go from a chestnut coat to black. And a white coat to palomino. But struggle with the others.
Below is my second ever manipulation, any pointers would be greatly appreciated

I would maybe try using an airbrush (If you're using ibs.paint) To put some type of lighting on the horse that would blend it into the background more, Like for a bright sky/ bright lighting you'd rim white/orangeish or maybe multiply blurred colors around the rim of the horse to give it a sun affect that's on the other side of the horse since the horse is not 3D. This is just from my experience of giving art a try, For a dark background like that maybe fog?

Here are a few things I noticed right off the bat: #1 the credits. In a manip, you never want the credits super long, or in all sorts of weird places. It's easier on the mods to have them be in one spot, and just small enough that they aren't blinding, keeping in mind that mods need to still be able to read them. #2 the quality. The quality of the image is really bad. Of course that doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong, it just means your program is not producing the correct amount of quality to neatly perform manips. I'm sure some artists have found work around to issues like this on Ibis, but I'd honestly recommend Krita (totally byassed to it, I ADORE the program), FireAlpaca, Adobe, or something else rather than Ibis for starting on manips. Another thing I noticed is that the image is very flat. The horse is too dark, there's no shading, and no fine details can be seen on the horse. Also, the hooves on the legs with markings are the same color as the markings, and don't blend into the background properly.
