Kayla ended up in his arms at some point in the night, curled into his embrace and peaceful. She leapt up, not recognizing where she was and panting fearfully. Kayla sighed, sliding beside Gale and running her fingers through his hair softly |

He leaned slightly into her touch, even in his sleep. |

Kayla tapped her fingers against her leg with the tune of their song, thinking |

Gale eventually awoke with the sun, seeing Kayla and smiling slightly at her. "Goodness why is the sun inside?" |

"What's on your mind?" He asks, reading her. |

"Huh, since you were on my mind. Nice" He mused, pecking her cheek before he stood. |
