Dreams saw West and smiled, making her way over to him. 'Good morning.' She said lightly with a smile. 'How are you?' Once she was done speaking she took a long deep drink from the cold stream. The water slid down her throat and woke her up all the way. A bird screeched overhead and Dreams head shot up in alert to look at it. It was a large bird, one she'd never seen before. Where she had lived, there were only small birds, and this one scared her. As the bird screeched again she flinched and, instinctively, threw herself against west. 'oh west, I'm sorry... I've never seen a bird like that. It just scared me.' She smiled a sheepish smile and peeled herself off West's side.

West lifted his head as Dream approached. "Morning. How'd you sleep?" He asked politely, glancing up as a hawk flew past and taking a step to the side to steady himself as Dream catapulted into him. "It's fine- those hawks are common around here." He answered with a small shake of his head. "You'll get used to them, sooner or later." West chuckled.

she chuckled lightly. 'I feel so stupid, scared at a bird.' She shook her head. 'I slept well. Harmony let me sleep next to her..she's a very nice mare, and we have similar pasts.' She glanced over at Harmonys still sleeping body.

cosmo walked down to the stream after his roll "mornin" he said before taking a long drink then looking at dreams and west

she smiled at Cosmo. 'Hello, Cosmo. could one of you show me around today? Like what is our herd territory and where not to go and stuffs? I don't want to get lost any time soon.' She chuckled lightly.

Dreams felt a little uncomfortable with both stallions staring at her. She could practically hear her scars saying, ' Ooh! Look at me! Look at me!'

Harmony awoke with a start, the grass where dreams used to be, already cold. She jumped up and stretched. Feeling a little thirsty, she turned towards the creek, and then she saw Cosmo and West talking with dreams. She slowly trotted over, but noticed Dreams felt uncomfortable with both the stallions watching her so intently. "Good morning Boys." she said, "how was your sleep?"

Hoping to draw the attention away from her new friend

Dreams smiled thankfully at Harmony. 'Hi, Harmony. Sorry if I scared you by waking up before you.' She smiled a small smile.

West shook his head. "You can only imagine the things I was scared of when I .. well.." He trailed off, seeming suddenly uncomfortable. "Doesn't matter. Anyway, I'm glad you slept well." He finished, greeting Cosmo with a nod. As Harmony walked over he shifted slightly, glancing at her. "Mornin. I... have something to do." He mumbled quietly, turning and trotting away. His head swirled with the memories that had so quickly gotten dredged up. Horrible memories. His scarred body was a living testimony of the things that hd happened to him... and although a lot of the scars were from cougars and wolves, most were from the thing he was scared of the most. He stopped a ways away and shook his head, trying to forget.
