She noticed her words didn`t seem to have much of an effect, so she receded with a small sigh. Myra looked up at the sky again quietly, deciding it was better to remain silent for now. There was no need to dwell on the past in her opinion, especially since one could not change anything even if they desperately wanted to. Besides, she knew if she had made a mistake, she had Adonis to rely on; the horse was smart- maybe even smarter than her- and clearly knew what he was doing anyways. |

Caleb eventually stopped thinking about the competition and stood, walking to the cooler and grabbing 2 beers. He offered one to Myra as he sat down. |

``Thank you,`` she mumbled quietly as she accepted the beer, holding it for a few moments before beginning to drink from it. Although she tried her best not to drink too ofte, she found herself constantly making exceptions. Myra figured she could drink often now and then take a long break from it for a while. |

Caleb sipped at his beer and smiled over at Myra. "What do you do outside of rodeos?" He asked. "Like, do you have hobbies or anything?" |

``I paint sometimes,`` Myra admitted with a small laugh as she focused on him once again. She found art quite relaxing even if she wasn`t the best at it. ``How about you?`` |

"Just work around at other ranches. It's like a side-hustle type of thing I guess." He said, smiling at her |

``That`s nice!`` Myra replied with a smile. It was always a good thing to get well-acquianted with other ranches in the area, especially for the sake of connections. |

"Yeah. I'm hoping to get a job somewhere soon for a bit longer than just a one-job deal." He said quietly |

She knew that her parents were always looking for new people to hire, but only if they had a good records and lots of equine experience. This was not public knowledge since they did not want to have to deal with all of the applications. ``You could work at my family`s ranch,`` she blurted out without thinking. |
