"For now" Caelan muttered, fear flickering across his face before he hid it again. "We should probably get going. Thank you, Betty" Caelan said, standing and handing a handful of cash to her. "Oh, no, no. Caelan, don't pay. You know better." Betty scolded. Caelan didn't take the money back, just gave Betty a hug and left with Adele. As they walked to the apple pastry cart, Caelan stopped for a moment and kissed Adele. "Did you enjoy dinner?" He asked softly, hands on Adele's hips |

Seeing Caelan's happy mood dissipate, Adele felt bad for saying what she had. She wanted him to be happy, not trying to hide his fear. She hugged Betty after Caelan, saying, "Thank you, ma'am, for the wonderful dinner." Adele followed Caelan back the way they'd come, admiring how the city glowed in the dark. When he kissed her, she gladly kissed him back and put her hands on his shoulders. "More than you could've imagined," she whispered, almost reverently. "In fact, I ate so much I might not have room for dessert," she joked, glancing towards the pastry cart. |

"We'll grab them for breakfast, then. You need to leave tomorrow, don't you?" He asked, voice dropping toward sadness before he masked that as well. He took her hand and walked her to the cart, getting one for each of them and walking back to the castle. His mother was nowhere to be found--thank the heavens--and he walked Adele to his room. He set the pastries down and flopped down onto his bed |

(Sorry for being late, capture day is taking its toll on me. My writing motivation has gone dowwwwn) . Adele nodded and said, "Sounds good. And yes, I told my parents I'd be back by lunch time. But if you want me to stay longer I can." She followed him to the cart and into the castle, hoping that his mother wouldn't hop out from around a corner. Once they reached Caelan's room she breathed a sigh of relief and plopped on the bed next to him. She looked down and realized she was still wearing the clothes Caelan had given her. "Did you say you could get more clothes for me? If not, I'm sure one of your messengers can run and grab some from my room in a few hours."

All good! Glad you have premium again!) "No, here, baby" He said, going to his closet and pulling out three sets of clothes he had made for her. He also took out a shirt of his and set that on top of the pile. "Sorry, I should have thought of that before just lounging around. Sorry, babe" He said, pecking her forehead and sitting down again |

(Me too! Did you get any good captures today?) . Adele smiled and watched Caelan take out the clothes. "Thank you. Did you make all of these?" She asked in disbelief. They were beautiful, in their own way. Made well enough to hold together for ages, and simple enough that she wouldn't stand out in a crowd. Adele fingered the stitches in the fabric as she spoke. "No, it's fine. I only thought of it just now. Don't be hard on yourself." She excused herself to change into one of the sets of clothes, a white top and brown leggings. She thought they would work well as night clothes, at least while she was here. Adele stretched and yawned, realizing how tired she was. She felt like she could fall asleep instantly if only she were sitting or lying down. |

Only a EWE ISH mare, but she's plain white and other than that, all PSS and below...Hbu?) Calean changed at the saem time as Adele and smiled when she came out. "C'mere, baby." He said softly, leading her to the bed and pulling back the covers. |

(Any Ws are good! I kind of did more than I expected to, lol. Got a PWW and EWE and lots of P+ bravery. My poor accountant, though. XD) . Wearily, Adele climbed in bed and moved as far to the side as possible so as to give Caelan room. Strangely, Adele had trouble falling asleep. She kept thinking of Caelan's mother, speaking rudely of both of them and then wounding Caelan. It was too awful not to think about. She turned over and cuddled into Caelan, absorbing his quiet presence. A few minutes later, her breathing eased and she fell asleep. |

I guess any W's are good, but if she produces badly, I'm gonna flip lol) Caelan held her when she cuddled close, breathing in her scent and relishing in the feel of her in his arms. He kissed the top of her head and drifted off. ~
Caelan woke the next morning and climbed gently out of bed. He changed in the other room quickly before sighing and drawing in his sketchbook on the desk in his room beside the bed |

Adele had a few dreams in the night, but none that she remembered well in the morning. She sat up, rubbing her eyes. When she opened them fully, Adele saw Caelan sitting at his desk, hunched over a notebook. She got out of bed and walked over to him, pecking his head. "Morning, babe." She looked over his shoulder at what he was drawing. |
