Christmas cactus are pretty hardy and have really pretty flowers in winter. Only killed one when I forgot it was in the room with some 8 week old kittens who thought it was a great toy.

I have been summoned.

Aloe vera can be a good option like has been said. Snake plants are also a good option as well.

Bird- get an Aloe Vera. The love being ignored, seem to die when soaked or baked, but always come back if left alone after you think they are dead. Wonderful things! Look cool when they grow happy too.

Hummer, Daylilies are pretty durable flowers, give them a try and see if you like them or not

Tee that's not good, best thing is to ice it. It will take the swelling done and elevate the foot.

I'd say put ice on it. then wrap it in something to stabilize it....You could put heat on it but if i remember correctly heat doesn't slow swelling down but helps with pain

You may be like my husband, he didn't even know he had a hairline fracture in his foot. Been walking around with a limp for 4 months before I made him go.

I ‘sprained’ both my elbows a few months apart from each other doing the same dumb thing, doctors thought it was fine didn’t think X-ray was needed, so I didn’t bother with it until the second time it still felt sore and swollen after 2 months, got me an X-ray then got a phone call that afternoon telling me to go back to the doctor as soon as possible. They were both fractured, thankfully minor all they needed was rest but still. I’m hyper mobile with high pain tolerance, so that contributed to me getting dismissed

Tee I would %100 precent have a doctor check it out. Plus the swelling alone can cause nerve damage in the foot.

Elara nodded as well, agreeing. "Yeah, he probably would. Disguise it as a hunting trip or something," She mused, listening. When Sage called Nate a king she chuckled lightly, knowing he was far from it to her. "Maybe, it'd hurt, too. But mainly it'd be great."

Sage hummed in agreement and shrugged. "See? Send him a letter or something. He'd stop by," he noted. He wasn't the guys friend, but he didn't dislike him either..the guy treated him like a human being, so maybe they could get closer too.

"Would not have thought of that, thanks for the idea." She said softly, standing and heading in to write the letter. It read,
Dear Nate,
I have missed you, I will say that. I thought it would be a good idea if we could
meet up, Sage came up with the idea. Meet me at Grey Wolf, and bring Dorion, please.
I can tolorate you,
-E

Sage nodded in response to her comment with a sort of grunt, waving her off to go write her letter. He simply relaxed by the fire with Liz and varys, wanting to give her some privacy, just in case she wanted it. Besides, it was nice out so he was enjoying himself.

She sealed it and set it aside to send it to the mailers, knowing nobody would reckognize her....as long as she stayed hidden.

Sage stayed by the fire for a while, eventually moving to take a look at the land around them and figure out where they might be able to make a chicken pen and fence for maybe some other animals as well as a garden.

Elara came back outside, swatting away a small skinny fox from them as it tried to take some of their food. "Stinking rat," She mumbled, sitting next to the fire.

Sage chuckled when he heard Elara, moving to wander back towards her, shifting Liz in his arms. "I was thinking we put a fence around the back area. Set up a chicken coop and garden, and then maybe in a year or two we could fit in some pigs or goats or something," he noted. "If we're here long term," he added quickly. He'd like it if they did....but he had nothing else. She might want to go elsewhere. She had more options than him.

Elara smiled up at him, liking his ideas. "Yeah, I really like those ideas. They'll be helpful. Good thought, Sage." She complemented, making a map of it in her mind.

Sage nodded with a hum, grin growing on his face. He supposed he just wasn't used to compliments yet. But he nodded along and settled down next to her, sighing softly. "We'll figure it out," he noted.
