So June 28th she came up 3 legged lame. I hadn’t noticed she had a tiny cloudy spot in her eye. Probably because her leg was badly swollen. Couldn’t get a vet out till end of July so I conferred and managed myself. Then yesterday she must have banged her face bad and her eye broke some vessels and swelled up. Vet ended up coming out this morning.

She’ll be ok. Just need 30min to treat and wrangle her face into a fly mask.

Oof I'm sorry MC. Between my parrot trying to die, my car trying to die, and my "sure thing" July job that always makes good money falling totally flat this year, I'm out of money. The thought of another vet bill makes me cringe. I hope she heals quickly!

My mare bruised her cornea. $480 later and at least it isn’t cut. Little heifer about laid me out when I went to put a fly mask on to protect that eye too. Swear she uses her head as a weapon. Pretty sure her smacking up upside the head with her face is how we got there in the first place.

Thanks Myth! Idk why my RL horses all decided to get hurt and work took a poor turn. I’m exhausted but pulling through. Had to go home this morning as we had to have the vet out since a Mare busted her eye. I’m taking naps at work to get by 😂

I lost all my riders this month so only my gelding have riders now. Didn’t have time to play for 3 weeks. So I’m trying the only showing geldings thing.

I think I have leveled out with the number of horses I own. I fluctuate between 1200 and 1400
Everytime I start to go up I end up doing a huge cull and go back down

Yes, I love his mane too, it curls itself & makes him look even more handsome lol :) (Which is also a pain to brush out)

I will certainly post some pictures today!

I also love how he doesn't like to run away from me in the pasture lol, which all of my other horses do, except my filly lol.

He will literally come running up to the fence, even if I have a halter or a bit, he lowers his head for me to put it on, which I'm happy for that since I can't reach his head even if I'm 5'7 :,)!

Anyone else have a horse that shed a literal ton? My Friesian x QH gelding is like a woolly mammoth, the pics of his hair pile isn't even hardly how big it partly is, my phone died & these were when I wasn't even done brushing one side lol! He gets so fluffy every winter & Ii swear I might collect it and make something out of it lol!

Also the shadow is my paint mare lol, I lured them over with some treats & once they seen I didn't have a leadrope they all came over lol

Hercules was staring at me the whole time I was brushing the other horses lol!

I am so glad you rescued him! He sounds like an amazing horse, and you two are a great pair! He's adorable, good luck with him! (I can relate to the skittishness LOL, my boy Remi is afraid of birds! XD)

Came home today & found him sun bathing. He heard me walking up to him & stared me down the whole time :,)

He didn't get up so I just pet him some, I went into the barn to feed grain & thats when he figured to get up lol, he's just in it for the food lol
