Never to big for aquariums! Always go the biggest you can afford!

@Zz, I was thinking of a 5 gallon or maybe even 10 gallon, but I'm worried that might be too big.

I just wanna jump in to say the ‘live in puddles’ part is a harmful notion to be spreading, 2.5g is the absolute bare minimum, 5g is the ideal minimum

@Angels, can I get a photo of it? Did you cycle the tank with the live plants beforehand?

I have mine in a 2.5 gallon with some rocks a small filter and bubbler and I do have live plants but it isn't necessary. The only reason people recommend live plants is the plastic ones can tear their fins, but you can also get the silk ones. In the wild they literally live in puddles so they are fine with anything, but obviously you want to take care of them lol

@Angels, really? Can I ask what your setup is? I feel like it sounds really complicated because everyone reccomends live plants.

I don't think it is an issue. He was down in it week 7 but week 7 isn't really a guide for weaknesses only strengths. He was up in it for week 4 and 8 so it isn't a weakness, and she wasn't down in it either

Hey all!
I love my roans a lot. Most of my best horses have roan in them. Which has made it harder for me to sell offspring of those said good horses. Is it even possible to "breed out" the roan? I'm not thinking it is since when I've bred a solid to a roan I get a roan :') just thought it might be worth asking those who are better with genetics than I.

If the parents are Rnrn it's possible to breed it out

I've bred RnRn out of my heard. It's possible, even more so when you are working with Heterozygous roan. You just gotta pay attention to the genetics of the horse's you are breeding.
