this is my favourite retail story of mine.

a customer came in after closing - Mon-Fri the deli closes at 8pm while the rest of the store closes at 9pm - and demands food. the deli was visibly closed, too. the lights were off and all the stuff in the case was covered in plastic, the seafood was put away, there were SIGNS UP ON THE DAMN CASE saying "we are closed go away".

I politely tell this lady that we're closed and she proceeds to argue with me. I was at the end of a 9 hour shift and was beyond exhausted at that point, so I had little patience for her nonsense. we argued for about 5 minutes before she goes "how will you compensate me for this inconvenience" and I very loudly said "we won't! we're closed! it sucks to suck!"

she goes to the manager on duty who's one of my closest friends to complain, and he goes "well... they *are* closed. it *does* suck to suck."

Have to chime in here, I worked for CVS. Had a drunk guy come in around closing, go to the restroom, and come out naked. Yep, as the day he was born. He said he thought he was home and going to take a shower.

Gosh im glad im not customer facing haha. When I worked at a riding school I had a kid refuse to ride a pony because it was the wrong colour once- that didn't go down well funnily enough haha

Boss writing me up for fear mongering when I told coworkers the doctor told me I most likely had covid but I didn't qualify for a test early 2020 when that all kicked off (she told me I just had a bad sinus infection. I got further in trouble after I asked her when and where she got her medical degree?)

I no longer work at a library. lol. Now I go sling boxes at Amazon where I have no customer/patron interaction.

Worst incident I remember? We had to start locking the public restrooms. Someone decided to smear waste matter all over the bathroom... Not once. Not twice... but on three separate occasions. Grown ass adults too.

Build: Well proportioned, slightly stocky for the breed.
Temprament: Very forward and can rush unless ridden by an experienced rider with an indipendant seat. Can be agressive towards other horses and is very food oriented, so she pins her ears at whoever is feeding her and lunges at the horses stabled either side of her. She generally enjoys the company of people and loves being scratched under the chin. Lamington in very snsitive and responsive to the aids under saddle, especially seat and weight aids, and is therefore unsuitable for beginners, as she moves forward even though they don't know they asked for it.
Movement: Very big and flashy, making it very difficult to sit her trot and canter. has a tendency to bulge in her neck and shoulder unless kept in correct flexion.

Build: Lean, well proportioned and nicely muscled throughout the body with a slightly higher set neck than standard.
Temprament: Dottibel is very laid back and enjoys the company of other horses and/or people. She is a sweet horse and enjoys cuddles very much and loves to be scratched under the forelock. She is a brave horse and doesn't spook very easily, making her a safe mount for peple of all ages and riding abilities.
Movement: Forward moving and very willing under saddle. Naturally has a high head and neck carriage and posesses some nice even, balanced gaits. Dottibel is decently scopey and has a nice controlled pace comng into a jump.
