I had my avatar deleted because tiktok apparently isn't allowed as an image source; when....The creator of the avatar was listed on the image cause I downloaded it from their page. They were one of those artists where they make avatars for free use.
Also, when did they change the rules that tiktok avatars aren't allowed? cause that wasn't a thing when I set it a few years ago. |

Hi, quite a few changes in the last year. I had to move to 8upload (which is really easy to use). See You have to scroll down for quite a few pages till you get to allowed hosting sites. Must admit I could not see tiktok metioned at all. Its a pain when these changes happen. But we have no choice but to change in order to stop the bad stuff getting in. |

Tik Tok is not an allowed stock source as I already have said. If you need the link again for the art rules where it lists allowed sites that can be found here. https://horseeden.com/forums.php?f=16&t=86039&n=hee-art-rules-5-1-26-update We may not see something right away, if you did have that avatar up for a while. But it was seen and it is not something allowed, it is not an approved stock source. So it was removed. |

tik tok has never and will never be allowed, its not a stock source, theres no way for us to verify that the person who created the image didnt steal it theres a million reasons but it has definatly never been allowed, its probably just gone unnoticed as sometimes things slip through the cracks |

I know that you said it you don't need to be so rude. What I'm saying is, when I set that Avatar I couldn't find ANYTHING in the rules against using tiktok. So I was asking when it was changed since that Art thread -which I already found thanks- had the top post last edited this year.
Which doesn't help me when I'm trying to figure out when a change was made. Which is what I said in the original post in this topic.

I have been a mod for a decade now, as per Jericho and MGF, tiktok has never been allowed as a stock source in all this time - it falls under regular Google source - where you cannot trace ownership, the art rule thread is being updated on constant basis as people use more unknown/new sources and we check them, hence recently we have compiled all under one thread instead many. If you can't find something or in doubt - just ask before using/doing - then all of this can be avoided. |
