What is the secret to these Black Chestnuts?

I have NEVER bred or caught one OR obtained one from rerolls despite trying pretty hard. Is a sacrifice requiried? If so, how do i go about it? Asking for...myself...

I have not bred, captured or re-rolled one either. I think Eve said the genetics have to be aa and then have some luck? Lol
