Does "There are many sites on which you can find references or add-on tools for your rendering applications, popular sites include, Flickr.com and Deviantart.com. May I check my understanding of this part of the rules please: "When using artwork if it is NOT entirely yours you are required to give credit to each piece that you used." If the artwork is entirely mine (painted, no references, stock or anything other than default brushes used) then no credits are required? I.e. I am OK to leave all text off, I don't have to include my stable number. |

My understanding (and inputs from mods) are that you still must credit yourself. Otherwise your art will be pulled down (and it could be stolen by anyone)

Interesting, thanks. Guess I'll just use my name as others do, as the number is quite long. I was prompted to ask after noticing some (gorgeous) art with no name on it, so wondered if this was allowed.
Regarding at being stolen, in my opinion a name/watermark being added only really offers protection if it's large and overlayed over an important part of the image. |

I join alot of Facebook groups that are specifically for "references for artists". How do I credit that? I plan on painting these photos with acrylic or oil and uploading a photo of my painting. I can digitally add credits to the photo, just not sure if I credit the fb username or the fb group? |
