Yea, I may have to. Im thinking about calling to get an idea on prices for a neuter as well. If its just as expensive then theres no point in switching in my opinion

Getting chipped at my vet is like $25

I feel I should add that hes getting chipped as well, which is ANOTHER ~$120 for some reason

I WISH thats all I would pay lol. Ive tried looking around at the humane society and other spay/neuter clinics for something more reasonable priced and theyre either full or only accepting ferals.

Same, honestly. I dont even want to think about how much it would cost to spay a cat there lol And I am curious about his bloodwork but $200? Good god x.x

The $200 also included the blood work, medicine, etc

I would honestly expect that more for a spay. But at least they like to double check to make sure there's no oopsies during the procedure.

That is insane. My dog's neuter was like $200 and my cats I took them to a vet that does feral animals a lot so their prices are super low and it was less than $100
Willow Grove
09:55:46 Stalker of Chat
The neuter itself is $200 but that doesnt include any meds + they require a blood panel and an EKG before he goes in which adds another ~275 πŸ™ƒ

I live in CT and he is unfortunately not getting a spa day lol. They include a nail trim and ear cleaning but thats not worth all the extra 😭

I absolutely adore your art. I can always tell what your piece is, and I love how unique they are! Absolutely up your prices, they are worth so much more then 10k! I think that blurring the background slightly will definitely help the piece. I think that you could easily become a tier 1 artist in no time! Keep up the AWESOME work <3

Agreed I'd stay in tier 3 for now
I'd charge like 20k for horse avatars
Your muscle definition / shadows / highlights are way to 'out there' try using soft light layers and blend then in more
On the art help. Section of the forums there are a ton isf tutorials listed in vellum forum that can help out with prep
Your hair is quite good so far, I'd worn on adding more flyaways and worn on shape more
And as a whole work on your lighting :)
Also try working on blurring the horizon a bit on your backgrounds to add more focus on the subject (eg the horse)

^agree

I really love how unique your style is! Since high muscle defenition is so defining to your pieces, I would suggest editing the backgrounds a bit to match! Meaning blur the background a bit, and some defenition to the darkest and lightest points of the background, and really make sure the horse and background are the same hue, making it all blend together to look like the two pieces are one :) I also agre with a lot of the others on here that you should be in the 30-50k range. Keep embracing your beautiful unique style and I really think your prices will be steadily increasing, most importantly make sure you are comfortable with your prices and charge what you think they are worth!

Your style is rather unique! Not my usual cup of tea, but quite pretty all the same.
A few tips:
1: Keep an eye on your hair flow. As the horse moves, so does the hair. When the horse is still, gravity takes over and it drapes. The motion tells how the horse is moving or interacting with their environment. If a horse is standing, looking back at the viewer, a hanging mane says the horse has been like that for a bit. A mane with a bit of 'bounce' to it says the horse just moved or there is wind.
However... when a horse is in motion/running, all of the hair will be moving in the same general direction. Keep an eye out to avoid sections moving in opposing ways.
2: Keep a skeletal/musculature chart handy. With such a bold style, you want to make sure that your shading/highlights are exact. Anytime I do heavy modifications or draw from scratch, I keep a chart in the corner of my screen.
And 3: I would definitely move up to Tier 2! Your art is absolutely worth 30-50k! :)

Tier 2 is supposed to be 50k-100k <3
