I recently created a picture of my favorite pony (credits to me, and Tatiana Rodriguez@Unsplash)
The reason there are no credits on the image is because I am not finished, and I'll add them when I'm done.

I can't figure out what it's missing. A little help?

It seems like the horse in the art stands out a little too much. What I do when that happens is I take an air brush type tool and us 50% opacity. Just do quick swipes on the back of the horse using the same color as the trees and do the same for the feet eccept the green of the grass. It helps a lot for me <3

Can't say I agree with Greek completely but you could try that if you want to. One thing that stands out to me is it looks like places on the ground are blurred and others are not. Maybe start over with the background image to fix that. You can definitely use the blur tool in the very background along with edges to draw attention to the horse. Turn off the background layer for a few minutes and see if you could also clean up the cutting of the horse. Erase little dots and spots here and there to have an overall cleaner image. Another part of why the horse stands out is both the lighting and the quality of the horse image itself. It has a lower resolution than the photo surrounding it, throwing off th me viewer. The resolution itself can't be changed but you can work on body prep in order to make it look higher quality. Lighting, the horse currently has a very strong highlight in its rump while it should be a softer highlight across its entire Tolkien. This is because it seems to me that the light source is directly above. Branching off from that detail, the shadow is then going work be directly below the horse. New layer -> paint soft black blob -> set to Multiply -> play with blue and opacity until it looks natural. A dear friend of mine recently posted an amazing art guide that I think could boost this piece to a whole other level if you would like to check it out <3
