So a few things I need help with that I'm struggling with.

1. How do I get rid of that awkward line that goes through the palette above where the nav bar normally is?

2. How do I keep where the nav bar once was transparent but the actual nav bar itself a solid color?

Is there a shadow or horizontal rule around the nav bar. It looks like a box shadow to me.

Oh that is supposed to be there! It looks a little unnatural since the nav bar is transparent at the moment. I'm talking about the small line underneath the header
