Oh so report via their player page for things in chat? That does seem easier than trying to keep track of mods timezones

It's best to use the report button rather than messaging one mod by the way so the first mod who comes online can deal with it ;D

Me and Kuewi are from the EU, but we still work for another 3 hours or so.

Always report issues, we will deal with it :)

We've got another hour or two left before mods come on again. I think its often Jeri thats first if Im not mistaken? Im in the UK and usually I wake up to maybe Ven or Eve still just about on, then its modless until 2 or 3pm for me

Thank you 😊😊 Yes I agree- it might be an idea for Eve to add in some international mods so all timezones are covered
Boulder Creek

That was well written Min. I like how you noted a lot of the considerations.
The Adult to Minor DOB switch is concerning and Modding should help.

The Mod schedules should be a HEE concern - most HEE 'nights' aren't covered and it's on the players to monitor and report issues.

Maybe both ideas could be implemented? That way people won't interact with minors as much, and the ones who lie will likely get consequences at some point

the job of dealing consequences would be admin and mods

Consequences are good, but at the same time Im not their parent and its not my job to give them the consequences. They'll mouth off the same if I can't see them 🤣🤣

Art programs? December 16, 2017 06:06 PM

IÂ’m new to art but want to see if I can take a crack at it. IÂ’m a graphite artist outside of the internet and figured IÂ’d like to try something new. Is there a non-internet program anyone recommends? IÂ’m only asking because we donÂ’t use WiFi, we use our cell phone hotspots when we use the computer. So limiting data usage would be best. IÂ’d love something to work on with my computer.

Also, how do stock linearts work with computer art programs? Do you have to crop out the lines from the ‘white backgrounds’ and paste them in the program to start with?

IÂ’m trying to get an idea how in depth this is gonna be to start with.
Thank you!

I really like Gimp. It's a free program that you download.
Has almost all the features PS does, but a tad less refined in my opinion.

Ive never done a lineart, so can't help there. Maybe someone will chime in for that part. :D

I like gimp and photoshop. As Jello said, Gimp is really nice because it is free and has a lot of the features that PS has, but PS is definitely a step up.

Linearts work the same way as a coloring book. You download the lines and open it in your art program. It will come up as just the lines, with a transparent background. Then you just fill them in. :)

Is it bad that I just now remembered I have this question in the forum?

Ok, IÂ’ve becer heard of gimp. I have heard of PS. Can I ask if PS or PS Elements are any different when comparared to features?

And IÂ’m assuming I need an art tablet? Do the art tablets require internet access to use or can I use one offline but plugged into my laptop?

Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for your help!
