I'm struggling with lightning on this piece. Help! How should I make it more realistic? This is it so far |

The make it look like the lightning bolt came out of the sky and start the horse I guess IDK |

I think the reason why it doesn't look realistic is because the background and the lightning don't match. If you play around with colour balance on the background to make it a bit more purple it should help. Also making the horse more purple will help as well. This will help them match the lighting of the lightning :) |

I personally think the volcano and lightning makes it to busy, but if you going for both, I would enlarge the lightning so it was taller and more from the sky, maybe an angry cloud. I think the purple looks pretty good, definitely add some red, as there is a large erupting volcano behind the horse |
