Every time I try to scale something very small (like a butterfly) it turns to pixels. I have my interpolation to lohalo and try to sharpen it after, but to no avail. What in the name of all good artists do I do to get it crisp and focused ???

What size is the canvas you are working on? Do you have an example of it?? I try and scale everything when it is still a smart layer and that helps slightly.

I set my layer first. Like a 500 x 500 background for an avi, then scale my other layers accordingly. Should I leave them larger?

I work on a 1000x1000 pixel base and then resize it as a JPEG later. This way everything stays large and doesnÂ’t get too pixelated.
