I agree, there should also be a report button in / under chat. I'll request it :)
Minerva

That could definitely improve things!

Maybe the chat log could have been a longer so less screenshotting would be needed?
Corazon
07:38:31
That is true Boulder. We do have a chat log but it only reads back so far.
Wisteria Run Farm
07:38:11 Solar/Ria
Mods can't watch chat every second they're on, either. So they'd need screenshots of things anyway
Corazon
07:37:30
Yup! All mods have acces to stable reports, so it will be dealt with quicker.
Boulder Creek
07:36:31
But it relies on players to screenshot the issues when Mods aren't on.
Minerva
07:31:27 Min
Oh so report via their player page for things in chat? That does seem easier than trying to keep track of mods timezones
Corazon
07:29:09
It's best to use the report button rather than messaging one mod by the way so the first mod who comes online can deal with it ;D
Nightingales Ridge
07:29:00 𓅪 Issy
Yeah Kuewi often gets my reporting lmao
Bioshock Manor
07:28:11 Storm
Ven is in NY I believe. Eve is in GA I think
Minerva

I stand corrected lol 🤣 Apologies Cora
Corazon

Me and Kuewi are from the EU, but we still work for another 3 hours or so.

Always report issues, we will deal with it :)
Minerva
07:23:04 Min
We've got another hour or two left before mods come on again. I think its often Jeri thats first if Im not mistaken? Im in the UK and usually I wake up to maybe Ven or Eve still just about on, then its modless until 2 or 3pm for me
Gongee Town
07:21:21 Fizz
is now kiddie hour?
Minerva
07:20:35 Min
Except for now Opal lol 🤣
Gongee Town
07:18:16 Fizz
really glad I play in the Mod time zone lol
Boulder Creek
07:17:41
Some days there are four mods on during the day and then it hits 11 pm gt and no mods on for eight or more hours
Nightingales Ridge
07:13:47 𓅪 Issy
Yeah after like 9pm my time it's a free for all
Minerva
07:13:14 Min
Thank you 😊😊 Yes I agree- it might be an idea for Eve to add in some international mods so all timezones are covered

It was a bit slow at first but now I've had a few people pm me to see if I could squeeze another slot so I'm hoping to auction off a few more custom slits and see what happens xD

That's awesome! If you're happy with the amount of people then definitely leave it alone for now

Also, here's some general tips for art.
- ALWAYS blur the background, even if it's just a tiny bit. Look at photography, especially comparing your phone and a digital camera. The bokeh effect in the digital camera makes the piece look better.
- Add vignette to the corners of every piece. How much depends on the darkness of the scene. Never use plain black. This helps frame the subject and draw the viewers eye in to the horse.
- Brighten a layer behind the horse. I take the silhouette of the horse and hair, put it behind the horse, turn it white/almost white, and then switch the layer to overlay, add, or soft light. Then I'll blur it and lower the opacity until it looks perfect. It really helps the horse pop. Sometimes I'll erase/fade this layer closer to the horses feet to keep the horse grounded.

I'm glad you appreciate it! Those things are stuff I ALWAYS do to my pieces and it really makes it so much better. One day I'll do a side by side comparison! What I also like to do is copy the background image, paste it over the entire art piece, use overlay/soft light, blur it, and lower the opacity a lot. This helps with cohesiveness of the piece.

I've never thought of that! That does make sense though to bring it together! I'll definitely be updating here soon using all of these tips and I'm excited to see what it looks like on my WIPs 😁😁
