The tail itself looks very nice. LOTS of detail. Positively fabulous. I do think the highlights in the tail don't quite match up with the horse though. |

That of course xD I still didn't quite get the colouring process correctly cause you end up using like 5 different colours and the example I saw was with black. So you wanted one colour and ended with something completely off. The most probably thing is that I will start it again from scratch, even try to get another shape cause I'm not entirely happy with it. I just turned on the background and the whole thing got worse: I did some layer change but still not what I wanted |

Erm, I'm a lot happier with my recent attempt :D Colour is still a bit off but will fix it at the end when I have everything set out. |

I suggest doing the tail as a greyscale, and then adding the colour overtop using the blending options. To get it lighter or darker, just change the brightness in the different layers, just make sure to increase or decrease each layer by the same amount. |

I would suggest making the highlights much stronger. The sun is coming down on the horse in the background but the horse looks like it could be in the shade. Very nice mane and tail :) |
