I'd suggest starting a thread about snakes, as I know several people here talk about their snakes in the chatbox and more advice is always better. My nephew has kept snakes for 20 years and they can be easy or hard, depending on the species and the individual snake. Some need larger enclosures or more frequent cleaning, some are just harder to keep healthy in captivity or have a tendency to not feed. I'm sure the community will have experience with more different types of snakes and sound advice for you.
