Hiiii! I`m here to gather eeeevery Lord of the Rings fan in HEE! This is a topic to discuss everything about LotR or Hobbit, I`ll start with a pretty unpopular opinion: * The movie trilogy of the Hobbit is not that bad. * But there's just too much CGI and it is not similar to the books. |

I love LOTR. For me the hobbit (movies) used too much CGI as well. I love the real and rawness of the previous movies. It felt like they had alot more heart. |

I'm afraid what I saw didn't interest me. I distinctly remember seeing someone doing these flippy moves against a wacky animated chihuahua looking warg. Perhaps I need to give it a chance hahaha. What did you think of it? Should I be less judgy haha |

I can relate for sure, it was an O.K. Series but not that great, a bit over the top... I am also kinda afraid of the new movie coming out 2027... |

Did anyone manage to finish the Silmarillion? I didn't. Have read the the Hobbit and ring cycle so many times I have lost count. Also tried to follow Tolkeins reading of folk tales. Gosh so hard, failed almost all of them too. Welsh - The Mabingion + The Book of Taliesin Indian - The Mahabharata Estonian - The Kalevala English - The Fairie Queen Very nerdy entry to your LotR fan club.. |

Hmm I barely have time to watch things I want to watch let alone mediocre haha! Oh gosh yes I'm not sure if I'll watch it. I didn't even watch battle of the five armies o.o oop

Well done you! I'm part way through fellowship but I hardly have time since baby. Its great and interesting the extra content :D I've heard The Silmarillion is tough |
