I've only read 1 book by SMJ, Throne of Glass. I don't know how it compares to the rest of her books, but I did not enjoy it.

I just finished Gideon the Ninth and. What the fuck. That was an experience. Holy shit. Just gonna lay down on the floor and contemplate life now. Anyways, if you like necromancer lesbians with swords in outer space, this might be the book for you. If you like banter and mindfuckery, this is definitely the book for you.

Will add that to my TBR list, Puck xD Speaking of which, does anyone have some good recommendations? Specifically interested in fantasy elements, diverse casts, and LGBTQ+ romance/rep. But really, anything well-written goes.

Ooh, I just borrowed that from a friend and am going to read it. Haven't started it yet though.

That's one of my all-time favourites!! I've reread it so many times in the past year I no longer think it's healthy xD

Lockwood And Co. Is a good one if you're coming down off a SOC high. Lockwood is sort of like Kaz, but PG13. Lots of hijinks and heists. It's a fun little read.
