Ranger watched Mini for a second before following her at a canter, stopping in the stream and spraying her with cold water droplets. "Whoops." he chuckled

Mini tossed her head with a smile as he got her wet. She stomped her hoof and sprayed both him and herself. Mini shook off the water and pranced away, swishing her tail. She bobbed her head as she headed down the stream

Ranger shook her now sprinkled-with-water pelt off and trotted after her, kicking up great splashes of water as he went. Eh, he never really grew up so he mineswell act like a colt. It beats acting like a grumpy old stallion that doesn't do anything

She kicked extra water with her heels as she jumped into a canter then she hopped onto land "bet you can't catch me!" She only went half her galloping speed as she flew past other horses in a large circle

Ranger's eyes came alight with fire as he sprang up on the bank. "I think you'll be eating my dust!" He called, shooting into a gallop and pulling right up beside Mini easily, being able to tell she wasn't going full speed. "See ya slowpoke." He teased, picking it up a little so some of the droplets of water that were still clinging to his coat flashed onto Mini

Mini grinned and pushed harder, a length ahead of him. She was part Thoroughbred, part Mustang, part Quarter Horse. She could gallop at the speed of a Quarter Horse with the travel time of a Thoroughbred, all the while stepping with sure-footedness and light steps, mailing it seem like she floating. She smiled as she wind made her mane and tail fly. She still had a lot of fuel and a lot of reserved power. She would save that for later...

Angel watched as they cantered off. She wandered around for a bit and came across and abandoned riding school. She nickerd in excitement as she saw some jumps where still set up. Even better the jumps were different sizes. It had been years since angel had seen a abandoned riding school. She wandered into the stable and saw what looked like a place a horse was staying. She froze as she heard a twig snap behind her.

The mare trotted over to a nearby water source and saw Ranger, and this other mare, racing? Well either way, it was kind of cute seeing him try so hard.

Ranger's eyes lit up as Mini pulled ahead, his steps still easy and light. He was definetely a mixed breed, having a lot of different lines in him. Ranger had a lot of Quarter Horse, a little Mustang, and then a bunch of different little things that traced back quite a ways. There was some Arabian made up in his lines, giving him immense stamina which helped. He was quite sure-footed, running along the grassy earth, the wind blowing his silver tail behind him. Ranger sped up a little till he was flank to flank with Mini again, hanging out there instead

Mini slowed slightly to try to trick him. She had a feeling he was smarter than that so she darted ahead, flicking her tail in his face. Suddenly, she took off like a missile, practically flying as she shot around the perimeter of the herd, the speed of the Quarter Horse and the stamina of the Thoroughbred showing. She was a daughter of the best of the best Quarter Horse mare and the best stamina Thoroughbred stallion
