West rolled his eyes slightly, his mind slowly drawn away from the mare he had actually been jealous off. Sheesh. He couldn't believe he was so naieve once. "Well then stop showing off." He joked, flicking his tail as he quickened his pace to a slow trot, keeping his eyes alert.

"Showing off? Who would do such a thing? Not me!" She tossed her head, her black mane hitting her neck as she continued on. She glanced behind her at West. After all these years, she had forgotten about her insecurities. Her blue eye was no longer a problem and she didn't care about her pattern anymore. Her blanket appy pattern caught her eye and she grinned as she pushed herself to speed up a little.

West laughed a little at that- typical Dixie. "Nooot you." he answered, admiring her shimmering mane and blue eye for a second before turning back to the fields. He had always loved her blue eye, and a while ago, never understood why she had tried to hide it. He thought it was beautiful. But lately, for quite a while now, she had not tried to hide it at all. Suited her much better. A slight glimmer caught his eye so he headed that way, seeing a small lake.

Dixie slid to a stop, spinning on her hind end to watch West turning. "Where you going?" she asked as she followed him. She spotted the lake when she turned to follow him "WATER!!!" She tossed her head, happy that no sharks would be there. She had missed the water, but she was terrified of entering the ocean. Just the thought made her shiver, but she focused on the lake with a smile

ghost tossed his head and walked around the herd before walking up to ebony "wana do to the beach" he asked with a swish of his tail

Ebony tossed her mane and pranced after Ghost. "Yes Mr. Walrus! Beach it is!" She giggled before darting off towards the beach.

West trotted to the lake, lowering his head to drink deeply. He tossed his mane a little and payed at the water before staring into it. The ripples splashed outward before smoothing out.

(ahh yes west payed at the water)

ghost snorted at his new nickname before troting after ebony and splashing into the water

Dixie stopped beside him, hee eyes wide as she gazed at the beautiful clear water. She walked into it, feeling the cool water wash over her coat

(PFFT- PAWED)

Ebony grinned and catapulted into the water, splashing everywhere, before sticking her muzzle in and blowing bubbles with a giggle.

West shook his mane again and turned his gaze to the horizon. There was a whole world out there that Mystery could be hiding in. They could miss her by a couple feet, if she was covered in mud and not moving. The chance of them finding her was.. slim, to be an optimist. The stallion lowered his head with a snort.

Dixie turned back to look at him. "Come on in!
