ghost looked at dixie with a nod as she spoke being sarcastic he bowed "go ahead my lady" he gestered to mystery using his head before standing back upright and walking back to the tree

Mystery returned the nuzzle as Dixie spoke "Yeah he does. But it's for all our goods I guess" Mystery chuckled, she stretched her legs and turned to her prance as she asked to speak to her "Oh okay, yeah!" Mystery started getting excited because of Dixie's excitement "Did you want to talk to both of us? Or did you want me to follow you somewhere private?" Mystery asked prancing on the spot

"Just you for now" she couldn't hold back the smile. She turned and walked a little ways down before stopping. "Mystery. Be honest. What has Ghost told you" she giggled. "I'm just joking. Anyway. I have a feeling that you may already know but the only ones who know for certain is West, Me and Ebony, and now you. I'm like 99% sure I'm carrying Wests foal" she beamed at the thought of bringing a life into the world. "I'm just worried about how you feel about this. I know you and West have been a little tense and I KNOW y'all were REALLY tense before you left- which broke us by the way- and I just want to make for certain that you are okay. I just want to know your side of things" she lowered her head a little

Mystery nodded, Dixie's smile only made Mystery smile brighter. She followed Dixie down a little than listened, her heart half stopped when Dixie asked what Ghost had told her, but relief hit her hard when the mare was only joking. She listened on and nodded slightly at her words "I don't believe I know, wait ONLY West you and Ebony? Wow am I having the honor of knowing something before Macy!?" Mystery got excited and had to stop talking to lower her voice "I mean my niece knows as you said so what ever it is I wanna know eeeeeee" she whisper-sqeauled. When Dixie told her that she was sure she was pregnant Mystery's face lit up "Wow...... Really!? You're having a foal? Aww Dixie I'm so happy for you!" Mystery said as a tear ran down her face "I could of sworn yesterday you were a filly... Now you're going to join me and Macy in motherhood? That's wonderful news!" Mystery urged. Mystery couldn't help but smile at this point, Dixie was having a foal, a new member would arrive in the herd! Her smile faded a bit when Dixie asked how SHE felt about it "What? Why are you asking me? It's not my business Girly, and besides I'm always happy" Mystery reassured, she listened more, her head lowering and her ears falling back in guilt "I'm sorry I left, and that things were tense... Dixie? Since we're being honest, you told me a secret, can I.... Tell you one?" Mystery said slowly, swallowing. She couldn't believe she was going to say it, Dixie would most likely HATE her if she found out. But she felt horrible for keeping this, it apparently was ruining her and West's friendship, She looked down and waited

"Yes! You know before pretty much anyone!" She tossed her head out of pure excitement. "Im going to join you two! I'm going to be a Mom!" She bumped mystery softly with her muzzle when she seemed to falter. "I just feel like we haven't talked in a while. I really want to make sure you're okay. " she listened as Mystery spoke. "Yes. You can tell me anything, you know that right? I'm always here for you"

Mystery looked Dixie in the eye "Oh... Okay. But I assure you it means nothing, so please do not tell West.. Please" Mystery started, she wanted to cry, run, disappear, turn down this opening, but she knew Dixie would find out eventually. And it's probably better if it came from Mystery instead of someone else "Well, Dixie. A long while ago, when you, Mace and Scarlet left for a while, I had hung out with West a lot more because without you he seemed lonely, and he's one of my best friends so I couldn't let him be miserable. I helped him when the foal's left for their adventure to bring them back, and I've for some dumb reason found over the course, especially after you came back and re-kindled with him... That I may of... Somewhat loved him?" Mystery quickly grew awkward and worried, but she continued "But don't worry Dixie! I promise you don't need to worry, he loves YOU and You alone. Plus I'm not THAT kind of mare... I wanted you both to be happy, that's why I ran off for all those months... But I'm fine now... How are you feeling? It really has been a while hasn't it?" Mystery let out a nervous chuckle and backed up a step to hold back her outburst of tears that she felt arriving from telling Dixie the truth about why she'd been staying away from West, she took a deep breath "Please don't hate me! Hearing this great news? I don't even want to be with West. I want to see you two raise a beautiful family with me as the trusty Auntie! And Macy too" Mystery finished trying to lighten the mood by bringing up Dixie's good news
