scarlet matched pace with willow "heh k" he sped up the wind grabbing his short mane he pulled ahead of willow with a flying lead change letting him speed up before he slowed down so the smaller mare could catch up

Dixie tried to speed up, but the extra weight was slowing her down "ahh I. Need. Speed " she grinned but kept her pace. After a few more seconds she had to slow slightly. "I think I need some water" she huffed and puffed as she trotted to the stream

She glared at Scarlet as he ran beside her "Teh you think you're a match for me!?" She challenged looking forward and speeding up in the canter. When Scar sped off she stayed at her pace with a plan, she made it look like she was going 'as fast' as she could... But once Scar slowed a little for her to catch up she leapt into a gallop, overtaking him in a split second "Hehe SEE ya!" She yelled as she went to catch up with her mother and Dixie

scar flung into pace behind her over taking her as soon as she was a little out of breath his paterened coat gleaming under the sun he slid to a stop when they were a little bit away from the stream he smiled at willow "i think you spoke tto soon dear" he joked (regan ships them 😭)

Mystery slowed down two and nodded "Yeah me too, it's been hours since I last drank" She said quietly following in trot to the stream "That was good, and fun!" She grinned blowing bubbles in the water. She drank for a bit before having a idea, she looked at Dixie "Hey, Dixie? I know Ebony's here, but I want your foal to have as many foal friends as possible..." Mystery spoke each word with thought "I love Willow to bits! So much so that I think I'd like to try and have another.." She whispered this whole sentence so that only Dixie could hear "Problem is I don't know who... I don't have a stallion... But I'm sure I can find one. No that sounds selfish! I want someone I can love sincerely!" She said, her gaze looking around the herd which had limited stallions, her gaze caught one in particular "Hmm.. I mean I was half showing off with my 'Breaking halters' trick when that new horse came... Maybe.. Juuust maybe I could be happy with him, he could be happy with me... And we could have our... Own family? Like you and West. You see with Willow, sure I had West help me by pretending to be her father... Dixie nodded more and more as she spoke. "He seems really nice. You should try! And poor Willow. I feel so bad for her." Dixie nipped at Mystery's mane in return. "I think you could sweep him off his hooves in a heart beat!" She cheered before lowering her head to drink

Willow was doing so well! Until she held her breath to speed up which was a bad habit, she soon started running out of breath which weakened her strides, allowing Scar to pass. When they stopped she laughed and rolled her eyes "Yeah yeah well I let you win since I'm so kind!" She urged with a huge smile wiped across her face, she walked to the water all sweaty and took a nice long drink

ghost walked over and silently shoved willow into the river without her hearing him he wattched flame look utterly confused before relising ghost was behind him and spooking at him ghost shook his head with a chuckle before walking over to mystery and dixie "it would work better if you were to drink the water through your mouth not your nose mystery " he joked with a snort

"You go girly!" Dixie tossed her head and pranced in the water

Willow looked away refusing to be told otherwise, she side hoped when he splashed some water "Hey i- EEEE!" She was cut off by being flung into the river by Ghost, she swam out "Oh? You're DEAD!" She ran ramming into Ghost's side knocking him over before he left than running around throwing bucks in the air
