Ranger was a little worried the lead stallion would think he was trying to watch over the herd, but he really didn't care at this point. He was tryig to think of ways to be accepted more without totally throwing his personality down the drain. Ranger turned in surprise as the mare's voice came from behind him, tilting his head. "Don't be sorry at all, I shoud expect it. It's very smart of you to be wary of new stallions, and most stallions are quite rude... I get it." He answered, flicking his tail slightly and wondering why she chose to come back and tell him this

She took a few steps toward him "I'm Mini" she her eyes drifted over the herd. She looked back at him "what's your name?" She let she slight breeze ruffle her frosted mane and tail

"It's nice to meet you, Mini." Ranger dipped his head slightly. "My name is Ranger." He answered, glancing around the herd before looking back to the mare. Ranger didn't really understand why she came back, why she cared, or why she was brave (or stupid) enough to tell him her name... it might have something to do with her wanting directions through the tangled forest, though. -Then again, she seems a little prideful to ask help from a *sniff* stallion- Ranger thought, though he didn't mean any harm, since even in his thought he had a teasing tone

"Nice name" she said nodding her head slightly. She looked around. "Is there any water source nearby? Im kinda thirsty"

Ranger smiled slightly, 59 different remarks coming to his mind... though he said none of them because most wouldn't make much sense to the mare that had known him for literally 5 minutes. "Over here." Ranger answered, perking up slightly when he knew there was something he could help with. He walked down the hill and over to some willows, under them a clear stream running straight through the herd's territory

Mini followed behind him "oh thank you!" She lowered her head to drink. "This water is amazing! Much clearer than the water at home" -home...- she lifted her head but dropped her eyes to her reflection

"It was my pleasure." Ranger answered, glad he could assist with something. He could tell the mention of home made Mini a little sad, so he said nothing else, standing in the shade of a willow for a moment before taking a drink

Mini stomped in the water, spraying water everywhere. She purposely sprayed Ranger as she tossed her head

Ranger flinched back as water sprayed him, but his eyes flared up with teasing playfullness immedietely. He took a step into the water before pawing it slightly, sending a wave towards Mini

Mini snorted and trotted away before galloping past him, water flyi everywhere. She slid to a stop and a huge wave crashed into a tree. "Whoops" she mumbled before turning towards Ranger
